cold pasta recipe. Each location submitted their top recipe to go head-to-head
in the final taste test at Profile HQ. After much deliberation, the top
three recipes were picked and a champion has been crowned. Stay tuned

Third Place: Profile Taco Pasta

Profile - Brookings found a way to fuse together Italian and Mexican cuisine
so you can enjoy that taco crunch without all the calories. Combining
fresh lettuce and cherry tomatoes with a handful of Profile foods, they
were able to recreate the delectable taste of taco salad in a way that's
definitely 'Profile-approved'. Sprinkle some freshly shredded
cheese on the top and you have a zesty cold salad that's sure to be
a party pleaser!
Profile Exchange values: 2.5 ounces of lean protein, 2 free foods, 1 fat serving
Prep Time: 10 minutes / Cook Time: 10 minutes
Number of Servings: 4
Serving Size: ¼ of the package of noodles
Ingredients:
- One whole package of Profile Spaghetti noodles
- One package Profile Homestyle Sloppy Joes
- One bag of Profile Barbeque Crunch O's (used as a garnish)
- ½ bottle Profile Zesty Asian Dressing
- ½ package low sodium taco seasoning
- One pack of shredded lettuce
- ¼ cup low fat cheese
- One handful cherry tomatoes
Directions:
Let the spaghetti noodles thaw out in the fridge overnight. That same
evening, cook the Sloppy Joe meat as directed on the package and set in
a bowl in the fridge alongside the noodles.
The next day, mix the thawed noodles with half a bottle of Profile Zesty
Asian dressing and taco seasoning in a large mixing bowl. Toss in the
cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. Top with the Sloppy Joe meat, garnish with
crushed Barbeque Crunch O's and serve.
Tip:
Garnish with Crunch O's right before serving to make sure they stay
nice and crunchy
