Hometown: Davenport, Iowa

Motivation to be a Health Coach: Coming from a background in healthcare, I’ve always wanted to work
for a company with a mission to help people take ownership of their health.
I am inspired by the “ah-ha” moments helping people realize
their full potential
Interests: I’ve gotten into competitive volleyball, hiking, road cycling, &
I’m all about candle making. I love candles, I but hate spending
$20 on a good candle so I started making my own.
Health tip: For building new habits, don’t try and change too many things at
once. Recently, rather than trying to change my entire morning routine,
I made the smaller commitment to floss. I’ve made flossing a habit
& have been significantly more consistent with my oral hygiene!
Favorite part of Central Texas: Trail running in the different state parks

healthier lifestyles, so why not make a job of it? I absolutely love learning
about new things in the health and wellness world and figuring out how
I can apply these things in my life.
Interests: I enjoy being outside biking, slacklining, fishing, hunting, and so much more!

Favorite type of physical activity: Running with my dogs
Motivation to be a Health Coach: My family is one of my biggest inspirations for being a health coach. I
have seen how a healthy diet and weight loss can change a person’s
life. I have always known I wanted to be the person that facilitates healthy
lifestyle change in others.
Interests: I love camping, hiking, running, biking or just hanging out in my hammock
enjoying a good book (and some peace and quiet!)
Health tip: When I purchase fresh produce at the store, I always buy the veggies that
aren't pre-cut. They are cheaper (because they don't require an employee
to wash, cut and prepare) and I find they stay fresh longer. I also buy
all my fruits and veggies in bulk when they are in season. I freeze what
I don’t need right away, saving money & enjoying higher quality produce!
Favorite Part of Central Texas: Spending an afternoon in a hammock in the Greenbelt
