Certified Profile Coach

Hometown: West Islip, New York
Favorite type of physical activity: I love to run; there’s something about running that grounds me and I’m always in a better head space when I am finished.
Motives and Inspiration to be a Health Coach: With a background in healthcare, I’ve always wanted to work for a company with a mission to empower the individual to take ownership of one’s personal health journey. I am inspired by the “ah-ha” moments helping our members realize their full potential.
Interests and passions: #sports, hiking, exploring new cities, traveling, psychology, and obsessively listening to podcasts.
Health tip: Stretching is not just a necessary evil. It’s incredibly important for the long-term health of your muscles, joints, and connective tissue; it keeps you moving and feeling healthy for a long time. Reframe stretching in your mind from something you “have to do” before and after your work out to being an actual part of your workout regimen.
Favorite place/thing to do in Austin: McKinney Falls, Pedernales Falls, and River Place hiking trails

Certified Profile Coach

Hometown: Davenport, Iowa
Favorite type of physical activity: I am all over the board these days rarely doing the same type of activity more than once a week; I am a dabbler, but if I had to say a favorite, I love a really competitive circuit class where everyone is supporting each other.
Motives and Inspiration to be a Health Coach: With a background in healthcare, I’ve always wanted to work for a company with a mission to empower the individual to take ownership of one’s personal health journey. I am inspired by the “ah-ha” moments helping our members realize their full potential.
Interests and passions: Competitive volleyball, hiking & biking every chance I get, and I am all about soy candle making these days.
Health tip: For building new habits, don’t try and change too many things at once. Every few months, I go through a kick where I want to improve my entire morning routine. I try and add multiple things to my morning, and after a week, I give up. Recently, rather than trying to change my entire morning routine, I recently made the smaller commitment to floss. I’ve made flossing a habit & have been significantly more consistent!
Favorite place/thing to do in Austin: Climbing at Austin Bouldering Project!

Certified Profile Coach

Hometown: Helotes, Texas
Favorite type of physical activity: I love going to group High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) classes where a coach tells me what to do! I am very competitive so the group environment helps me push my limits.
Motives and inspiration to be a Health Coach: When I began my own health journey, I found it incredibly frustrating that there was so much contradictory and bad information about nutrition and health. While pursuing my degree, I started coaching part-time and never looked back. I am inspired daily by the power of listening, empowering, and motivating others to pursue their goals!
Interests and passions: Stand up paddle boarding, home decoration and renovation, live music, and soy candle pouring. I have too many interests and I am passionate about them all!
Health Tip: It’s all about balance and knowing what will work best for your individual goals and needs.
Favorite place/thing to do in Austin: All types of outdoor patios!

undefinedJenn Curl
Certified Profile Coach

Hometown: Frisco, Texas
Favorite type of physical activity: My favorite activities are swimming, hiking, and anything to keep my family active!
Motives and Inspiration to be a Health Coach: The fact that I can make a difference in someone else’s life inspires and motivates me. I have always had a passion to help others with my caregiver’s heart. It is the joy on my client’s face or the excitement in her voice she has lost two pounds that makes me want to continue coaching.
Interests and passions: Going to the movies, live concerts, camping, traveling, spending time with my husband (he’s in the Army and travels a lot), and running after my two-year-old daughter!
Health tip: If you truly want to be successful, then you must tell yourself you will succeed. Yes, you will fail at times but it is the fact that you get right back up and try again that makes you succeed in reaching your goals. Don’t be afraid to fail. Michael Jordan once said “I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed.”
Favorite place/thing to do in Austin: Barton Springs and Lady Bird Lake Trail

undefinedMegan Swiderski
Certified Profile Coach

Hometown: Chicago, Illinois
Favorite type of physical activity: I will do activity that gives me an excuse to be outside! I love taking my dogs for hikes and on trails around Austin.
Motives and Inspiration to be a Health Coach: Being able to assist someone in making positive changes is something I find to be truly rewarding and it motivates me to help as many people as I can! I have made my own lifestyle changes in the past and have grown to appreciate how challenging the process can be.
Interests and passions: Cooking (I started when I was old enough to use the stove!), animals (I have three pets), and live music whenever I can find it.
Health tip: When it comes to wellness, don’t overlook self-care. Be optimistic in all that you do and focus on what is best for yourself!
Favorite place/thing to do in Austin: The Greenbelt Trails

undefinedNolan Pyle
Certified Profile Coach

Hometown: Houston, Texas
Favorite type of physical activity: Resistance training, but don’t get me wrong, I love to ride my bike and other types of cardio!
Motives and Inspiration to be a Health Coach: I absolutely love expanding my knowledge in the health & wellness space while figuring out how I can apply those lessons in my life as well as those around me.
Interests and passions: Riding my bike, slacklining, fishing, hunting, and just about anything that gets me outdoors.
Health tip: Step out of your comfort zone. Doing the same thing all the time can really get monotonous, which can often lead to a less positive view on diet and exercise. Keep things interesting; try that Zumba class or eat those weird vegetables with names you can’t even pronounce!
Favorite place/thing to do in Austin: Zilker Park

undefinedNicole Burke
Certified Profile Coach

Hometown: New York, New York
Favorite type of physical activity: I love going new places; hiking is my favorite way to explore!
Motives and Inspiration to be a Health Coach: During my time as a teacher, I worked closely with families in the South Bronx, an area that lacks access to fresh foods and opportunities for physical activity. Seeing my students & their families struggle with their diet & fitness sparked my love for health education; I began giving yoga and nutrition workshops to my students and their families.
Interests and passions: My dog (who is going to be super excited by the Austin weather and lack of snow!), international travel, cooking, and scuba diving.
Health tip: Physical activity can be fun! If you don't enjoy doing something, try something else!
Favorite place/thing to do in Austin: New and open to suggestions!
